Crimestoppers A partnership between the police and the community to fight crime on a regional, national and international basis.
Crime Reduction The Crime Reduction Website aims to provide community safety and crime prevention practitioners with information and advice to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour in their local area.
Victim Support Victim Support is a national independent charity with trained volunteers to help people cope with the effects of crime. They provide free and confidential support and information to help you deal with your experience.
Nacro Nacro is an independent voluntary organisation working to prevent crime.  It's vision is a safer society where everyone belongs, human rights are respected and preventing crime means tackling social exclusion and re-integrating those who offend.
Crime Concern Crime Concern is a national crime reduction organisation and registered charity, set up to provide advice and help to a wide range of professional and voluntary agencies to support their work in reducing crime and the fear of crime within local communities.
Centrex Centrex is a powerful new force designed to define, develop and promote policing excellence.  Their aim is to help drive a modernising agenda by creating and delivering career-long learning, and by providing a centre of policing excellence and support.
Home office/Crime Prevention Government department which encourages the development of safer communities.
Womens Aid A national charity working to end domestic violence against women and children. National 24hr confidential domestic helpline 08457 023 468. You do not have to be in an emergency situation to phone.
BBC Website on Domestic Violence Excellent Source of advice and information, including advice for male victims.
Race Action Net A unique on-line service providing contacts and knowledge to practitioners and policy makers for dealing with racist incidents, racial harassment, and racist crimes in the home and neighbourhood.
Neighbourhood Watch An organisation dedicated to enabling local communities to take action against crime in their area.
Anti-Bullying A very comprehensive website dealing with many aspects of bullying in the home, school and workplace. Links to mental health and learning disability also included.
Suzy Lamplugh Trust A national charity for personal safety, aiming to create a safer society.
Crime Concern Trust We provide advice and help to a wide range of professional and voluntary agencies to support their work in reducing crime and the fear of crime within local communities.
